JACOB PIVONKA of Chicago Mission Bantam Major (2000) team commits to Notre Dame
Notre Dame head coach Jeff Jackson has secured a verbal commitment from one of the top 2000's in the country. Chicago Mission's Jacob Pivonka, a 2000-birth year, pledged to Notre Dame.
"Jake is one of the top 2000's in the country who is an all-out, all the time player" said coach Kevin Mann. "He has the maturity, size, skill, speed, and the highest compete level to go along with it. Jake's highly competitive nature with a never quit mentality separates him from a lot of good hockey players. Outside of Jake's athletic frame his stick skills and superb shot release makes him a goal-scoring threat every game."
The Chicago Mission would like to congratulate Jake and his parents (Mike and Renata) on this opportunity to a future D1 career with the University of Notre Dame.
